Hello from Ross-shire

Hello,

I am in the process of moving to Ross-shire full time, having been living there part time for about three years.

I have a 2006 Disco 3, my fourth Disco (previously had a Series 1 V8 and two Series 2 TD5's). I have also just acquired a 1981 Series III, which I am delighted with. It'll be working for its living around our woodland, but I'm looking forward to lots of roaming around the northern Highlands with it and my camera!

We've taken the Discos all over Europe, and down to Syria. Not sure I want to venture quite as far in the Series. Depends how confident I get with it mechanically.

Anyway, if anyone has any advice for a newby Series owner I'd be glad of it.

No problem guddling about in a Series - I do it all the time in my '82 County - it just takes a bit longer but that don't matter. Often go down to Inverness and Black Isle. Fantastic scenery in Sutherland and big skies up here!
