Following on from Ed and his previous thread, I thought I would just pop a quick post up to properly introduce myself now I am on board permanently with you guys.

As most of you know my name is Jordan, I have worked at Flux for a couple of years now and am a complete petrol head. My evenings and weekends revolve around being upside down in an engine bay or covered in oil, I am infact a qualified mechanic. I've owned a Disco and an SJ in the past so I have a bit of background knowledge too.

I am based in the Specialist Vehicles department but have jumped at the chance to move into club liason to work with you lovely lot.

I am here to carry on the fantastic work Ed has been doing with you guys, I am not here to defend Adrian Flux Insurance, but to help you all out with questions, queries and suggestions too.

So, if anyone has any issues with policies, renewals or even just advice - Give me a PM and I will do my absolute best.

Thanks for the warm welcome over the past couple of weeks, I hope I have taken the reins over well & not upset too many of you!

Best regards,

Jordan

More details required Jordan- photo is a must, age, marital status, chest measurements, inside leg measurements, do you dress to the left or right etc etc- you know just the normal stuff that people want to know about someone ;):D

Was just chatting with Ed about this on our dinner break, both laughed a lot!

All i'm saying is i'm a year older than Ed, roughly 4" taller, and slightly slimmer. :p (He won't agree if he reads this though!)

Jordan - you got PM, just a little query i hope you can help with

Cheers

Ed

Hi Ed - just replied. I've been on my summer holiday for the last week so had very limited Internet access - apologies!

Does your company only do good/preferential deals with off-road/ modified Land Rovers or do they quote for the 'ordinary' rural dweller????

Sorry Derwendolly - I completely missed your post there!

We certainly do cater for 'ordinary' vehicles, we insure bikes, cars, vans, adapted disability vehicles, even household & travel insurance!

Best regards,

Jordan

Oh no! It's not an ORDINARY VEHICLE its a LAND ROVER DISCOVERY - my treasure. It is me that is ordinary as I am not into 'the hobby' - far too old and decrepit now! I do, however, live very rurally and am part of the very many local Land Rovers who work for their living in these parts although mine is just my transport to ensure that I get where I am going at all times and my insurance is due for renewal at the end of Oct - hence my question.

Sounds like we can help.

If you want to give me a PM nearer the time with your contact details - I can give you a shout and see what we can rustle up for you.

I hope that's ok for you
