Rather than make a new post I thought I'd just bring up this one again. Unfortunately the '86 110 has retired from running life (not that its unfixable £500 to a good home ) so I have invested in a '91 200tdi Defender which is like totally different beast, it has a punch and doesn't leak oil, so I'm not entirely sure its a defender!

Anyway, later this year I would love to take it 'lanning and wondered if any of you TOSSERS would mind taking a 100% novice as a tag along at some point? (I already PM'd Grippa but thought its probably better to appeal to the group as a whole)

It'll take a while to format a whole list, but the main parts are:
Bulkheads are going
Chassis is going I think (its hard to tell as an ancient undercoating is now flaking away)
The camber on the nearside front is buggered (not horrendously but its not a good thing!)
A seal has gone on the nearside rear which results in the rear rim being coated in oil
no exhaust from the midsection back

You wouldn't want my defender mate, its got no tax or MOT either, for a first time set of big wheels, its awful (brilliant if you want a big project though)

I've been gone for a while, mostly due to new house, new kid, new job but most importantly... NEW LANDY!

My white defender was just costing too much to do anything with, so with a little (a lot) of help from my Dad, I've acquired meself this lovely thing:



I had the place do some work to it before they delivered it, so I'll post some updated pics later, but just wanted to say.. I'M BACK!!

Actually mate its from Gristhill's in Surrey. I'll be taking it to Gott's for servicing etc.

Didn't get a chance to tinker today so will post up pic tomorrow instead!
