Hello from Grantham

Hi just getting back into Land Rovers and 4x4s got a old disco series one slowly been getting it ready for off roading and green laning
hope to catch up with some of you in the future

Just exchanged my L reg Discovery to a shiny W reg Discovery got the bug back all ready

When I got my Disco 2 Wern't gonna do anything to it just drive it Week later I put a Lightbar on it done some other bits to it

yep I think there is a bug that comes with these motors

Sure is got this one cheapish then just my luck done 45 miles and the auto box is playing up.From what ive read sounds like the sprog clutch or what ever you call it im waiting for better weather to get under to see if any oil leaks or damaged pipes ,box works in reverse and pulls off in first and goes through the box if done manualy
Id forgoten about alll the joys of owning a Landy

Yeah i got some bits to do on mine basically service stuff but just waiting for weather to get good,

This is my 3rd landy still got 2 The Disco and a 1970 Series 2a did have a 1998 2lt Freelander but it developed a few problems on being something to do with the rear subframe mount, so got rid of it

Got her back on the road for a few weeks now and starting to enjoy a working Land Rover again
