My Landie is a 1972 series 3 which I rebuilt on a galvanised chassis about 5 years ago. It is a petrol on the original 2.3L I had a diesel before that but that was very noisy.

I was a user of Landrovernet.com when I tried it yesterday it said domain had expired, does anyone know what is going on, my old posts will be lost.

Welcome from neighbouring Kinross. Did the same with mine. The diesels are noisy smokey and fickle.
