Hi everyone. To introduce myself and my vehicle. My first car was a 1980 Suzuki LJ80 and then I grew up and got a 92 3.9l Range Rover then in 2005 I made a special order for a brand new defender 90 td5. I have been slowly upgrading it for years but always looking for a new mod or hack.
My upgrades so far are;
1.HD steering guard
2.Diff guards
3.Allisport new lift intercooler
4.Allisport performance manifold (ceramic coated)
4.EGR blanking
5.Allisport induction pipe
6.Thermal wrapping on downpipe
7.Intercooler & radiator sprayer (DIY)
8.Raptor engineering S111 dash & pod
9.Some aluminium interior parts.
Generally I have kept the weight down and it pulls really well but I do still want more POWER without spanking the engine too much. I have stuck with the standard ride height as it’s already optimal for all terrain but would like to firm up the stability.
Id like to hear of others experiences espessially with tuning for a very hot climate. I haven’t got a remap, at least not yet but I am keen.
Any recommendations or questions you all have would be greatly received.
