Hello from a wet Cumbria!

Finally in a position to ditch the family van (kids have grown up) and buy my first Defender. Something that I can throw the two dogs in and head into the hills. Currently leaning towards a 110 double cab TD5.
I’m in no rush, but am well aware regardless of which modal I buy I’ll be on here regularly seeking advice!

Okay so high hopes the 110 I'm off to view tomorrow may be the one.
2001 110 Country, TD5 stage 2 tuned by Storm, galvanised chassi, original paintwork, 115,000 miles.
I've done all the checks via Carvertical and everythings come back clear so just a case of checking it over for any obvious issues taking it for a drive and seeing if we can agree a price.
After 3 months of looking and reading threads on here I think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm checking for but any last minute advice is always welcome..... Obviously I'm expecting the 'don't do it' comments
