Hello from a newbie

Hi All,
I'm a newbie to the joys (?) of Land Rover ownership but I've always fancied a chunky 4x4 in my life and now I have a chance to spend time on a new hobby

I'm looking at either a RR classic or a P38 for the combination of a big boot and some luxury. I'm slightly ashamed to say it will spend more time on tarmac than mud.

I'm ok with a spanner and can follow instructions so not too frightened of the lifetime of maintenance ahead.

Hi and welcome, dont be ashamed that you dont get it muddy very often loads of folk on here are the same. As long as youve got plenty of patience and spare cash a p38 will be the perfect choice.

P38 will be less rusty than a Classic.
