Hello Folks. Hope yer all well. Now that I got a 90 hardtop I feel I am justified in joining this group. Etc. Wanted one since I was a kid (Not a hard top, just a Land Rover Oh the joy. Charver with yer saxo. Park it up so I can use it as a ramp. Just looked at previous thread re. freelanders. You owners should sell them. I've seen loads in flames. BTW If you need advice on batteries. Ask. I sell them for a living.

Hi and welcome to the loony zone. Where are you located. Might help you sell a few more batteries if people know where you are. NO SPAMMING though.

Sunderland. But we got branches all over the country. And we sell the good; not the bad or the ugly. No duracell or eveready. Thanks for the feedback. Waits for the shout regarding Optima ;&#172 Oh, and split charging systems, winches etc. Shurrup and get onto CCA. LOL.

Hello Tatooboo. Seems as tho' the CCA has got them thinking. Freelanders do busrst into flames. Sorry that you purchased one. Freelanders are NOT Land Rovers. They're German crap. Sorry mate. "Wheres me gound clearance gone?"

Its okay i forgive you its Landrover i dont forgive
No seriously ( and i am going to regret saying this) mine has been pretty good but its an old l series, so if it all falls apart at least me engine should be ok.
I pretty much abuse/use it as is intended and done some serious mileage as well, but i always do regular oil changes.
At this point i have just touched wood, said hail marys and throw some salt over me shoulder.
Also how have they been bursting into flames?
Oh and ive had 2 batteries since ive owned it, think that was just bad luck though.
