Hello Fellow Landy Lovers/Haters ;)

Hi my names bobby im from the northwest of the uk and have some issues with my freelander kv6 HA! like no ones heard this before, It seems my landy doesnt seem to want to know where it wants to go ie stalling when put in drive or when accelerating at past 25mph it jerks violently. Please advise i love this car and dont want to part with it.

I don't really know what a kv6 HA is but if it's got a distributer, check the vacuum pipe. If it's one of these new fanged modern jobbies, then ignore what I've just said.

Hi col yeah its a modern KV6 rover engine the 2.5 litre with an automatic. Sorry i should of made that more clear in my post haha, Ive re plumbed all the vacuum lines and doesnt seem to be any vacuum leaks anywhere that i know of but today when i unlocked the car there seemed to be a strange deep screeching noise coming from the rear drives side wheel arch which i think maybe the location of the fuel pump, I think it maybe a blocked fuel filter though im not sure. This car really has got me doing all sorts i love it to death i really do but its getting me really puzzled now.
