Hi guys,
Well im in the deep end, bought my first land rover freelander td4 svo. Love it to bits, impressive off road in a foot of muck or down the slopes.
Ive made good of the superb technical advise from these forums over the last month, (thats how long ive owned it) curing the a.r.b knocking noise and rear window assembly.
And more recently a starter solenoid refurb. Im no mechanic, but your advice and guides have got me through.
Soo, BIG thanks for all who share.

Thought i best become a member to show support and thank you really.
And i might bother u with my land rover related issues along the way if thats ok!!??

Well about that...
I love off road, however i suspect we may enjoy different types? Defenders simply aren't what works for me. Ive come from a 4wd rally background, so the freelander is a perfect set up for me. I down do low range, i do high speed, power slides, and 4wheel jumps. Independent suspension is a must. And so is weight! Never mind the cost! I no if i bent mine, i could get another for under a grand.
However, please dont get me wrong, i think the defender is an awesome piece of machinery, just doesn't work for my drive.

I bet thats just opened the flood gates...
