Hello everyone,

short to me, I'm 45 years old and an avid off-road driver. I already have my 6 SUV. 1. Ford Explorer / 2. Toyota Hilux Surf 2.4 / 3. Toyota Hilux 3.0 / 4. Mitsubishi Pajero / 5. Mitsubishi Pajero / 6. Land Rover Discovery Series II.

I live in Frankfurt but also in Glasgow and I love to be in Scotland.

But my dream car is and remains the Land Rover Defender 110. I do not know how to call it in UK, with 5 doors. Where the two benches are in the back. He should have a trailer hitch, front only two seats in the middle front the storage box and the ventilation slots to open, in addition to the spare wheel on the hood and other little extras and accessories. But that still lasts, now only 12,000 pounds saved together ..

Hello and welcome!

If you are wanting a diesel id certainly go td5, much more refined to drive, very very reliable (I know the others are too), and very good and simple to tune the ecu! People usually recommend getting a td5 with the engine number starting 15p, rather than earlier examples (10p), as they tend to of had some issues ironed out, but in reality, I have an early one with a mild remap and it is the best defender I've ever driven, and nothing mechanical has ever gone wrong. ive driven a 110 200 tdi and whilst good you can certainly tell the difference once used to a td5! good luck with the search!

Id either go for a late 300tdi defender
Or late td5 but td5s are amazing once theyre going when they break not often its usually something like injector seals or ecu fried itself
