I've just joined this and not too sure how it works and i want to get to know some people. I'm from norfolk near norwich and just bought my first Defender so i will be needing help and advice in time.

Welcome, i've done some laning and off-roading up near you (beeston pit and runhall) been out with hickling 4x4 lot laning

a 1990 2.5n/a blimey thats a late one! must have been a special order as the 200 was out then!

fitting it is pretty easy and disco TDis can be picked up for about £250 or less if you get lucky on ebay, defender ones are pretty thin on the ground and can fetch in excess of £1000 for an untested engine,

most of it just bolts in the only things you need to do is get a steve parker conversion exhaust and get some different intercooler/cooling hoses or if you are handy with metal and welding you can make your own exhaust

Now there's an odd thing... it's usually the last names which match in Norfolk not the forename. You starting a new trend?
