Hello every one

Hi lads and lasses,

just thought i would drop a line to introduce myself, i am on the look out for a defender 90/110, this will be my first landrover, and mainly be using it to go fishing, pulling trailor with motorbike on to get to trck days, and also camping trips with the family.

I am being carefull with what i buy and been readin posts by other memebers on what to look out for when buying a defender, i dont mind a bit of a project, as i am a keen DIY'er and like the acheivment once somthing has been completed.

also i would like to say sorry in advance, cos i am sure i will be asking questions that have already been asked a million times by other members. i will try my best to find older posts through the search option.

also i am from the newcastle upon tyne area, and like i said earlier i am after a 90/110, and funds are tight so i hve to be very carefull in what i buy as cant really afford a full restoration, just somthing maybe to see me until next summer when i can start to get my fingers right into of getting it the way i have it pictures in my head at the minute

I will give you some advice- don't ask me for advice about anything to do with defenders ( nor Go-Karts, mice, or hamsters in actual fact )
