Hi guys,

First post so Hello to all!!

Just came back to the LR family a few weeks ago when I picked up a Disco 2 ES.

Going to have lots of questions and here's the start. Remember there are no stupid questions, only stupid people!

I was taking my corroded rear step off last night and found an electrical connector hanging down near the rear driver side wheel. There was another one up under the body in the same area ... You can see these in the photo.

Can anyone tell what these are and whether they should be connected to something / each other?

Also had this come out the back of my seat runner today ...

Should this concern me?

Thanks!

The connector is for the water indicator. Some models have a sensor on the bottom of the fuel filter (instead of the white knurled thing you can see in your pic).

It's very unreliable so it's no problem leaving it disconnected.

+1, as said they are known to leak and give spurious warnings so no problem at all with not having it;)
