It was definately the mast at work that was causing the ''engine disabled'' fault as to rule other stuff out I parked at work as normal.Had to get towed down the road again!!!.
Aside from that my problem starting it at home came from the battery holder in the fob being buggered.Ive 'tinkered' with it and the connections in the fob and so far it appears to be working fine,although I did order a blank fob from Fleabay,but swapping it all over will wait until the fob packs in completely.(If it aint broke dont fix it kinda thing)!!..but many many thanks for all of your replies.
 
my boss has a aston martin providing the golf ball camera is not doing a scan he can go home otherwise it has to b recoverd to the top of the road and reset and l left my p38 outside the offices one saturday that was the same had to tow it to the top of the road lock it go for dinner come back and hey presto we could go home stupid realy. boss is looking into it at the moment hes using a transit van

If you only have one FOB get another or you may find yourself in trouble.:)
