Hello and a question aswell

Hi, I will be 17 next year and will dieffinatley be buying a land rover
My dads last three cars have been a,
range rover p38
discovery 2 v8
and now a td5 discovery

anyways, my budget would be less than £2000 and I would like a series 2 or as these are a fair bit cheaper a series 3, but I am winderibg which is more ecomomical, the petrol or deisel, or is there not much in it?
would like to hear your opinions on the matter,

sorry to sound so thick, I take it that there isn't really that much in it then, ta anyways

so much depends on modifications,tyres,driving style,laneing,motorway driving,what yr carrying,v8,2.25..na,td,tdi transplant etc etc
