Hello all!

So I found my way here. I'm still looking for a pre-1980 Series, but decided to get to know Land Rovers a bit better from the posts here. After my MG Midget they don't sound too bad. Even as a daily driver they seem good enough, though the police over here in Krautland would probably stop me because of the mud.
Anyone got a spare Diesel Series with OD for ~1k?

For a student 4 grand is more than an arm and a leg, it's nearly your head. And who said I'm going to stay here? She'll be home soon enough, after I finished University (-> lots of time to do some work on her, though not much money...)
And in Krautland they DO cost lots. And in bad condition. And with snobbish sellers who think they own everything because they have a shiny clean landrover as if it's their living room.
