Hi, my name's Doogie. I have a 2003 TD4 Freelander SWB.

My problem is with my windscreen circulation/blower.

I've tried setting all the controls as advised. ie: Fan on high. Temp set at high. A/C on. Windows cracked a little, and Recirculator in off position .... but there is very little air coming out through the vents to clear the screen. This isn't a problem in the summer but at this time of year it is a nightmare to get the screen to defrost. There is even a thin layer if ice forming on the inside of the screen which I have to wait ages for to soften before I can wipe it away. The blower fan works at all settings from low to high and removing the vents from the housing I can clearly feel the stream of air that goes to the A/C box in the passenger foot-well. Is there an easy way to check if the air is going through that box before going up to the screen? I'm hoping that the piping for the air has just come apart somewhere but when I place my hand up the tubing I cannot feel anything. I would appreciate any words of wisdom. Thanks anybody who ponders my trouble.
My apologies for adding The Mad Hat Man to the list to start this conversation, I am a fairly new member and haven't posted before so just picked the first name from the members button.
