Hello all

My name is Matty from a village on the yorkshire and north notts borderlands
as a weekend work horse we have a 1972 SWB single cab pick-up, although it is awaiting a repair job on a damaged diff box (old war scare from a previous owner that was very badly repaired but quite well hidden!) I'm a bit of a plug in and go chap so know very little on repair and maintenance, which is not good for having an old beasty like that but despite a few niggles it runs well so best left untouched.
Done a decent amount of off roading whilst working but almost always in a Ranger which I am sure is a swear work here.
living in a semi-rural location there is plenty of landy products bombing about, what has been great is the waves and L signs i get whilst passing another series driver or a defender and even a certain ranger rover
I have been reading as a guest for a while, and have a few questions, but I will be very cautious in posting them as I am sure there will be a large group of people that would like to beat me with a very large stick.....
