Hi Guys,
Just joined, also just purchased my first freelander serengeti a couple of weeks ago (03) 1.8, 87000k on the clock, lovely motor, really pleased.
Havin a few teething problems tho (after doing a bit of landy learning!)
Not sure if i should go into detail it in this part of thr thread, so i will go have a look round the forum also (if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated)

first prob- how to remove rear hub, got a wheel stud sheared off, and cant replace new one without removing hub! cant get it off-need a puller? or is it connected to drive shaft?

second prob- usual VCU suspect seizing, dragging in reverse full lock, cant really afford new unit as yet, so whats involved in disconnection of prop shaft and making 2 wheel drive? is this really a feasible option?

any help or direction greatly appreciated

thanks
Matt
