Hello all, newbie here has a question

Hello all , i have just got home with my back door window wound down , now it wont come up , it is making noise ,i had a look and the wire that raises / lowers is snaped , does this need the whole assembly replacing ? or just the cable , looks like bike brake cable , ? is it an easy job ? thanks in advance for any help ,

i've got a dodgy back window on me series.........if you get in it and breath yer cant see fook all outta the back of it !

pmsl thats the same as all the windows in mine
