Height sensor protection?

Morning chaps, just about to go outside and beat my man flu to change lots of bushes on the p38.

Got me thinking about if the night sensors are well enough protected for moderate off road use such as green lanes etc?

What do you think?

If you get into a situation where they are in danger, start to worry, you will have damaged a lot more than an height sensor long before that happens.

+1 there high enough that if anything strong enough to damage them has got to them your gona be shelling out more than the cost of a height sensor

Reason I asked was that the driver side one looked in protected but turns out it's just lost it's shield.

So just going to make on out of metal to match the other side.

You are both right that the underside presents plenty of other possible off road targets!
