Hello guys

Need help! My uncle has a p38 with an original alpine Headunit and cannot use his radio since changing his battery!
I attempted to purchase a code online supposedly direct from alpine but that didn't work!
Is it true the codes can be changed from the original set from manufacturer? Also where do we go from here?

Any help would be very much appreciated

I don't think the codes can be changed....

If it is the original headunit as fitted way back when, then your local main dealer should be able to get the code for you....sometimes, previous owners write it down on the handbook, service book, card or some other piece of paper you got with the car.....

Other than that, I am not sure.....main dealer should be able to help, and don't accept their denial or ignorance.

Agree with Ant, main dealer, when I got mine I had the same took a trip down to main dealer and they printed a sheet out for me with all the radio code and the Eak code and other details and didn't charge a penny which was a nice surprise.
