I'm a complete amateur. I'm just fitting new tracking arm and drag link. Is it right to just have 1 nut either end keeping the bar from turning? I'm writing this on my phone so I hope the image attaches ok.

So I changed both easily enough and it drives OK, however It now seems to take longer for the steering wheel to straighten up after I've made a turn on full lock. Could this be the new (cheap) steering damper I have fitted ? "Pro comp ES2000" or have I done something wrong ? I always find it hard to trust my own work. Thanks

Could be, could be tracking. How careful were you to make sure that didn't change?
What was the previous steering damper?
