Hello to you I am French but as our land rover forums are empty, I allow myself to come and post my problem here. thank you in advance

I just had a 2007 sport rover, and I have a heating problem.

On the right everything works, but left cons left air conditioning works but when I ask for hot I have nothing, I would say that the hottest temperature I can have is the outside temperature ....

I thought it was a problem heating resistance left side but it seems to me that there is one and therefore as I have heating right, it is certainly not her.

So after I think of the "mixer", but when I see the brothel to change it I prefer to ask for help before undertaking anything.

I said that when I touch the knob of heating (left or right), I hear a sound of valve that opens or closes ....

Can be a probe ....

I specify that my range is a French so flying left.

Thanks for reading me

Thank you for this welcome dear english friends.

Regarding the "blend motor" when I go from cold to warm, I hear a motor or valve operated for 8 seconds, so the "blend motor" works, right?

Hi

just wondering if it may be worth doing a hevac reset

With the HEVAC try this to reset the actuators that control the heat:

With ignition off press and hold the ECON & RECIRC buttons whilst turning ignition on (no need to start car).

The control module will then compare the current HEVAC actuator motor positions with the values stored in the module and will indicate an error by flashing the ECON LED.

If there are no errors, the LED will go out and the system will function normally.

To confirm that there are no errors, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then back to the ON position.

Observe the operation of the programmed defrost LED.

If there are errors present, the programmed defrost LED will flash and the system will attempt to calibrate itself.

Hope this helps

“ google has sent me to you fine gentlemen, I must warn thee I am French and have a RRS. Since all my nations Landy forums contain French people I must lower myself to ask here, as I bow before your mighty glory with thanks”

will just send the OP to the tower after, lol

@gstuart

I tried to manage hevac, I had no fault but rolling a little I realized that it worked.:RE

I drove 1 hour and everything went perfectly. I ate but leaving 1 hour later, it did not work, I redid the handling hevac but it still does not work .....: furious:

I looked at my filter and it is clean. I also looked at the manual which seems a little complicated. Anyway, here's the good mood, that's nice.

In any case, here is a good mood, it's nice.

thks, so it’s an intermittent fault, nothing is ever easy

so if I’m reading it right as urs is LHD it’s the drivers side that u don’t get any heat from

few more things to check

check ur water level

with it set on heating, close all the vents off on the right hand side so only the drivers side has open vents,

see if u get heat from any of the vents on the drivers side plse

let us know how u get on

Yes, it's left, driver side.

I have already closed all the right side to leave only the left sides open but it has not changed anything.
