heater plugs

went to change the front heater plug on my 300tdi and when i took it out the end (last inch) has sheared off and is still in the head !thought it mite pop out with the compression but after a week it is still in there ! other than taking the head off anyone got an idea how to remove it ?

Have you got a set of bolt extractors?

If so, they are easy to remove.

Wd40 screw a screw into it warm engine up and keep wiggling it pain in the arse done a few at work
