Heater Plug Light Stays On

My 1996 diesel, automatic disco has a fault, the dash heater plug light intermittently stays on. Any ideas?
 
Sticking relay?

Put a voltmeter between ground and one of your glow plugs, see if the plugs are actually staying on, it could just be a short behind your dash making the light stay on even though the plugs are working fine.
