hi again, It seems that saralou75 and myself have the same problem with the panel lights. is there someone in the zone who can tell us how to get behind the heating and cooling control to replace the lamps. thank you, jim
 
In my 300Tdi, you just pop off the three dials (may need a knife to lever them, then same for the fan speed control. There will then be two screws exposed, once they are removed the black front panel can just be removed by hand. There is only one bulb for this area, it is in the middle of the unit. Be careful removing it. Mine was stiff and I reckon I butchered it a bit when taking it out, so have had difficulty fitting a new bulb.

Must have another look at it over the w/end
