Heater o'rings DONE

Tackled the heater o'rings today all was going well until i undid the retaining screw this was unbelievably tight but thought nothing of it replaced knackered o'rings and reassembled did screw up nothing! removed screw to find aluminium thread still in the screw yep it had totally stripped i found they had been replaced before (tell tale hole in trim to realise duct) and on reassembly someone had used loctite what i found was a longer cap screw passed straight thru and balancing a nut on a magnet i managed to do it up.

I had a similar problem with mine when doing the O rings last year found I couldn't get it tighten enough and the thread stirpped.

Found the nut and washer on the back much better made it easier to get it all aligned and tightened up.
