I've decided to replace my heater matrix on my 1995 (soft dash) RRC LWB LHD and have run into a problem. In the service manual, on page 43, line 27, it states: "Note position of levers, disconnect heater control cables from levers and outer cable from retaining clips." I'm not entirely sure what this means. Looking through the glove box hole at the passenger side heater controls, I see two metal cables, one smaller and one larger. Are these what line 27 is referring to? If so, how are they removed? If not, what is line 27 referring to?
The access is not as good on the driver's side, so how are those heater cables removed?
