I have a 1984 Defender 90. My fan speed selecter appears to be busted 
and I was thinking of putting a seperate switch in its place. Is it possible to hot wire the fan directly to test it, and if so what wire is what. I have looked at the fan and there appears to be 3 wires coming from it.
Any help would be appreciated.
