i think no. 1 and 2 positions have packed in are they electric on freebie 1s, is it common and an easy fix?

they are called resistors and a simples job if you are ok with a soldering iron .

if you put your head under the dash on the drivers side and look towards the center of the dash on mine it was held in the heater by 2 screws undo them and it pulled out
