heater control not working on I and II

Hi everyone,
on a recent journey, just bimblin along, i noticed a nasty burning smell in the cab. Thought maybe the old girl was on fire
It soon passed, but now i have no heater on 'II' (its never worked on 'I')
I've ordered a REZPACK thing from fleabay, and I'm quite deft with a soldering iron, but can anyone tell me where its located, and how much of a pain to get at please?

The resistor pack is on the right hand side of the centre console (when sitting in the car looking to the front) accesses from the drivers footwell, way down by the pedals.

Its the green part in this photo behind the fan

yup, definitley the resistors as pictured above. Self repair kits on the fleabay for a tenner. or use III, lol :5bwilly_nilly:

If you buy NiCr wire the whole repair costs under 1£, I did it on mine.
