This has got me thinking:confused: Which way would you stick them together ? core to core or side by side ?
All they are is a small 2row radiator core with a baffles in .
would a copper core twice the size of the heater with brass tanks soldered on be much better do you think?;)

wire tie them together flat to flat core , then plumb up in series,
ie of the 4 pipes connect the outer two to the flow and return of the heater pipes from the head and the inner two pipes together ;),

yes could be done that way or better still a 4 row core as thick as the 2 heaters put together then just the 2 pipes as in your pic. And i know just the place to get the proper pipes from:D
mmm thinks im going to have a play with this idea;)

it will only get as hot as the extistin one but with more area shirly? so it flows faster, keeps the heat in , but if the coolants running at say 85, then the heater will chuck the same , ??

nah you'll get more volume of hot air from it - same as a bigger house rad - but if the boiler isn't man enough it'll be no improvement - also make sure the fan motor is up to speed to push that extra heat out to the cabin

another issue is that a overly effective cabin heater will start to over cool the coolant, and therefore the engine

did you get your water pump issue sorted ?

where this fancy matrix i hear you speak of coming from ?
Nothing fancy. It was just an idea after reading this thread thats all. end of the day they are built the same as a rad core but with narrower tubes.
I was just going to have a play & see what i come up with.

 yeah, pump was fine, was the viscus fan, stuck, was over coolin, so its off now till the summer, dont seem to be going over half , will tow the ifor for a good run tomorrow see if it does anythin drastic  should be ok
