Right sence I have had the beast I have noticed that the vents on the car dont all blow out at the same pace.. as there are four vents on the dash...

one on passenger near the door post
two in the middle
one on drivers side near door post..

but the two in the middle, only one near the driver side tends to blow out stronger than the rest ..
YES all vents are open..
wasmt sure if there maybe a blockage in the blower somewhere ? any body else have this issue on their freelander 1??
not overly fussed about it but its alittle annoying .

not Exactly the same .. although am fairly sure the 2 middle dash ones are stronger ..
no issues with it .. as just me and no passenger in front ..
'n dog in back ( it's a commercial / van type FL1 ) ..

routing dial aint perfect .. ..
with AC on dash-only vents .. i get temp. dialed air out the dash ..
and a dash of AC-only ( i.e. cold ) air in the footwell ..
even with footwell and dash vents selected .. i get different temps from above and below ..
( i.e. with AC on + some heating ) ..

anyhow .. maybe with yours .. ( and mine ) it's the cable from the vent-routing dial knob ..
old and stretched leaving all vents and air routing .. a bit wayward ..

e.g. a bit too much air down one route ( or leakage past the selector air-flaps )
would leave less air flow down the others ..

maybe your individual air-vent open/close flaps aren't working as the would when new .. ?

the above be mostly theoretical as to the causes :)

then again air-ducts have been known to become blocked .. or partially so ..
due to someone ( child? ) stuffing something down the vent .. cause it's there ..
