Advise needed please, i have just picked up a 1992 Tdi. The problem is the heater blower only works with the a/c on, once a/c turn to off the blower stops. Please help, as feet getting very cold.

I new it didnt work right, but paid very little for it. Hoping its a relay or something.

99% sure its not a relay!!
The aircon blowers are separate to the heating ones, the heating ones are well known for ceasing to work. The only way to change them is to remove the complete dash

Check the rheostat, fuses and all visable wiring first, see if there is power e.t.c
As for dash removal, its not the hardest job but fiddly and long winded, plenty of oppertunity to brake bits so go careful if you do it...
