heated seats

hi guys and gals how easy it remove and change the heated seat elements on a p38 I've got RAVE and looked at it just wondering if someone on herehas done it before and what time scale ilooking at roughly

Once seat is out it is fairly simple. First will take an hour ish. There is a write up in tech archive I think

Google it someone has done a write up with photos. Just cant remember where at the moment

Not sure but check marty uk's website. Think he does repairs

Mine came from Island 4 x4
Usually the lower bit breaks rather than the back

have got a link to it please

You can solder a link wire in were it brakes no need for a new element

Biketeacherdave did the heated seats with an uprated stat.

for age of old girl it probably best changing for new ones

About 20 minutes to take the seats out.

Get new trim clips tho as I broke almost all of mine taking them out. Really thin plastic caps.

I know he has them but not sure if he sells the variable heat ones. Marty has the control for the heat down on the base next to the movement controls. Might be worth dropping him a line.

I don't have the movement controls on my seats she not that posh
