Heated seats

My SE P38 doesn't have the heated seats option. However, I've checked under the seats and there are two white plugs so I presume the elements are there.
So to retrofit, I know I'll need a new climate control unit but what would I need for the wiring from the dash to the seat itself?

Do a continuity check of the plugs, Not much point if the elements are already broken .


Its a bit of an anti climax anyway, you can hardly tell its on.

Some people change the temp sensor .

Heated seats are selected on the HEVAC unit and switched by BECM. It maybe more difficult than you think.
