Heated Screen Everything checked as far a I know!!

My heated screen on my freelander 1 only clears 3 or 4 very thin strips on the passenger side and a little patch at the bottom centre. Nothing at all drivers side.

I have checked the fuses under the bonnet, Checked the earth wire to chassis and bondings on the screen and all seem fine.

There is no obvious damage to the screen at all.

Any ideas?

The heating elements have failed inside the screen. Time for a new screen.

Who is best to go with to get it replaced so you think and what is it going to cost me?

Some people might suggest a small tap with a hammer, to imitate the impact from a stone, then an insurance claim but I wouldn't.

If you're going to be honest then it doesn't matter.

If you've got fully comp insurance then it's worth checking.
