Heated rear window

Not sure if anybody has had this issue and can point me in the right direction. My rear window lowers and raises fine and the rear wiper works when I press the wiper/washer button but does not heat up to demist and the wiper does not work when I press the wiper only button. The fuses are all fine so it can't be that, any other ideas? Thanks!

Is the window right up? Sometimes they can catch in a split rubber seal fooling the system into thinking its open therefore things won't switch on because it doesn't think it needs them i.e. where is the point of wiping or demisting an open window?

I recently had a loan of a Launch analyser machine. I ran through everything that it could do with the TD4 including back door settings. All the things I have mentioned have a yes/no option so worth checking for obstructions.
