Hi just bought a 2003 td5 disco 2 for the first time (love it !). The only prob is the fuse keeps blowing to the heated rear window. I've checked the wiring inc the rubber gaiter in the door and alls ok. I've disconnected the door mirrors in case there's a problem there. I believe that there's a relay somewhere for this, looked at workshop manual but no use.anyone have any ides where it is please.

There is an additional single relay to the back of the fuse box under the bonnet, is this it? Thanks.

there is all the info in RAVE, i attach you just the diagram, the relay is integrated in the interior fusebox but a faulty relay would just not let the feed to the element it wo'nt blow the fuse as the fuse's circuit goes through the relay's contact...forget about the relay and the mirrors(they have other fuse), you must trace the short to earth by isolating the fault on the HRW circuit... follow the diagram

first of all, did you unplug the window too or just the mirrors? if you unplug the the window and the fuse still blows disconnect C0485/0480.... and so on

you find the connector picture in Electrical library - Connector views
