Heated Front Screen

Hello all,
Half my windscreen would not defrost this morning when the heated front screen was turned on. Am I correct in thinking that each half has its own fuse?
Its a 99 P38 HSE.

Yes, but more likely to be the element has a broken circuit, you'll find some lines don't defrost on the other side too. Only option is a replacement windscreen.

You may need a new screen i did cost me £70 at auto glass (insurance job) but the windscreen is sided so may be your conecter is down(clean it) because they are sided i dont know but they may have different fuses?? failing that wack a new one in...

I've found the manual and it does have 2 fuses. I'll check tomorrow.

It might just be the element has worn, check the lines on your windscreen for patches of yellow.
