And they should also not get so upset about their £60,000 sports car not
being able to go as fast as a crappy old Land Rover when there are
speed bumps in the road - that's the *real* reason beind the
anti-4x4 campaign, however high-and-mighty the may like to portray
themselves.

as i have an interest in most things with an engine i happen to have a ser111 and one of yer 60,000 pound sports cars, and i don't change into either a 4x4 maniac nor a stuck up snob when i get into either of them. high and mighty indeed!!!
there was a time i went to the local garage to fill up me car and couldn't get near the pump cos someone had left their rice burner in the way, while they had a coke and packet of crisps. the owner of the garage asked them if they could move their car as it was blocking the pumps and he got a right mouth full for his trouble. it was all about how he wouldn't have asked them to move if it wasn't a rich prick in a fancy car. then there are the ones that think cos they have a big 4x4 they can bully anybody into submission. it has nothing to do with the type of vehicle that is driven but more to do with the kind of nut behind the steering wheel.
stop being so vehicleist otherwise i'm sure the powers that be will introduce a law to make it ill eagle to shout verbal abuse at bus drivers and white van man. and that would just spoil it for us mild mannered peeps.
