Headlights and Sidelights

Evening,

After a day of trying to figure out why my headlights / sidelights don't work, it turns out that the previous owner had started a rewire of them but never finished, and its a bag of ****. So I am going to require from scratch.

I am also replacing the stalks as they are knackered, but I wondered where I can find a pin out diagram for the stalks, I can't see one anywhere. Also, the headlight stalk seems to have three positions, i presume one is for dim dip?

Headlight stalk is back towards you to flash the main beam, middle for dipped lights and forward for full beam on. Don't worry so much about the pin out - the colours will tell you what pins do what. Look for the wiring diagram and google standard british wiring colours.

Off (nearest to you), first click = sidelights, fully forward = sidelights and headlights
