Is your interior light still working when you open the door? if not the micro switch within the door latch may be faulty and then stopping the ECU from knowing the door is open and triggering the warning buzzer.

Thanks for the advice, i have checked the fuses, all seem ok...when i open the drivers door, no interior light comes on, if i move the interior light switch to on, the light comes on.....is getting to the micro switch in the door easy?? any idea how much a replacement costs?

Thanks again...

So if you put the light switch to the centre position, the light does not come on?

The micro switch is part of the door latch mechanism so you would need to replace the complete unit - I think around £70 new from what others say.

I've now exhausted all lines of inquiry.....

1) Fuses checked ok...
2) 2 x door locks, 1 x used and 1 x new....
3) electrics checked, all ok...

cant think of anything else.....all lights work ok, interior light works if i set it to on, but dosent if set to go on with the doors open. Only thing i can remember prior to the issue is that the car used to beep like mad at me when entering until i put the key in the ignition, this now dosent happen.

I'm at a dead end now.....HELP!

Bleeping when unlocking wiv the remote and opening the drivers door = remote battery flat.
