Hahaha! I think i would fit right in... the land rover community seems very friendly and welcoming so far ive found a couple of groups on facebook which are local im going to try and get someone to come and have a look round it for me and give me all the bad news ! Lol!

Fair play, and you will find your tool box growing in size,..........:D:D

Cheers

Its not confusing at all fella, they are illegal but will pass an MOT, the police wont be pulling you over unless you blind the hell out of them, the only issue is your insurance should you modify someones Honda with your front bumper, worse if the accident was caused by your lights startling and oncoming driver.
I'm also one of those people whoes eyes get burned out by blue HID's so I'm a little bias towards standard lights, but they work for me so I'm happy with them.

Thats my worry i dont want to get pulled and told off or cause an accident i only drove it down the road earlier and i got some abuse :D knowing my luck id put the standard lights back in and id get the same problem haha !

Yep, and not forgetting the time you will lose fixing it.............or knuckles you will skin, blood that will flow...............part of owning a landie..Enjoy.

Cheers
Ahh but its so worth it when its working and your having fun i suppose! Im sure i will learn a lot and also cry a lot :D ive already fallen out of it once because there was mud on my shoes hahaha

You can pick up a set of std lights for £30 with bulbs.

Cheers
Thats not so bad then i could probably stick these on ebay and that would pay for them shame because they are really good but im thinking if i had some spotlights for off roading i wouldent need LED’s anyway

You cant get sealed beams for 30 quid a pair unless you fit rubbish, any motor factors will have halogen lenses and last time I looked they were 8 quid each, you will need a fitting kit , bezels and buckets and bulbs. I cant remember the make of the decent ones off hand but I will have a gander laters.

I will have a look ! Those in the link look decent though thats all i really need and i cant imagine them being hard to fit lol

But yeah thats the way to go, standard lights when new are more than enough, I live in the sticks and my standard lights are way bright enough.
