Just a quick one lads.

Found out the other day that one that one of my headlights was hanging a bit loose. Took of the headlight surrounds and the mounting is rusted and broke in half.

I've had a look on ebay and found two different kits but not sure what to get as they differ a bit.

Could anyone shed me some light on this please?

First one I found:

Well what type have you got fitted now? Are they anything like the ones you've posted?

Not sure; haven't had time to pull the lot of and didn't want to brake it any further.

Got the bottom ones on mine... keeps a lot of crap from getting to back of lamp and connections;)

Thats what I thought.
Are you on standard OEM lights standard lights Buster?
If they will fit mine I'll definitly go for the latter; would just make more sense.

I've got the complete bowl type (the lower ones) made by Wipac. I have fitted a pair to each LR I have owned over the past 25-years and never had any problems.
My current ones have been on 11-years and of course being plastic there is nothing to go wrong, the plastic hasn't gone brittle and when I originally fitted them I coated the retaining rim with Waxiol (I love using this stuff on reassembly) so they are still nice & shiny. I replaced the lamp-units last year and it all came apart as if I had fitted them just a few months earlier.
