L322 Headlight insert finisher

Hi guys I got to change my headlight finisher On driver side of the old girl, my question is, has anyone painted the finisher matt or satin black?if so any pics please? It just an idea I'm toying with.

Modify a Range Rover , how very dare you?
Bit of a purist site this one fullfatrr is more into mods.
I could show you what I have done to the front of mine but would get black balled from landyzone !!

the finisher is the silver piece that goes around the light,if you look at the picture they are painted black

If you mean behind the glass inside the light then these are painted gloss black and the sidelights are java black.

Now I've seen them black not too keen, isn't it strange how some modifications look great on 1 car but not on another,

Not into mods usually, apart from upgrades BUT have to say that the black looks alright on yours. Wouldn't sit well on one my colour though.

I like the look of the early L322 but it had a bit of a cheesy square grin so wanted to blur some of the lines and the fake supercharger grille that makes the head light wipers sit at an angle is just ****e
I think if somebody is happy with the look it's them who have to drive it so each to their own I guess.
If I had the cash I'd buy a brand new 5.0 SC but I haven't so I'll Dick about with mine until I run out of cash or sell it or both

I think this mod only works in black, if mine wasn't black I would have gone for the 2012 facelift
