Head unit

Afternoon all, apologies if this has been covered.
Iv recently acquired a discovery 2... with the hk audio system and the Becker navigation system.
Ideally I would have kept this and had an aux lead but have been informed this system doesn't have the capability. Has anyone got around this? Or have most gone with changing the head unit for a more modern one.

Most will change it but take care with wiring in the outputs to the amp which must not be amplified from the HU. So use the preouts from the aftermarket HU to wire into the HK amp inputs, not the wires on the iso harness

I had a Kenwood in mine from the previous owner, and I fitted the control adaptor, so the steering controls worked.

Only ever messed with plug and play.

Maybe a bit more research is in need.......
